Attention Students:  There is no school on Monday, January 21, in order to observe Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.

Attention Sophomores:  Class t- shirt will be on pre-sale in room 50 during lunch throughout the week.  Order your shirts today!

AUDITIONS for the spring musical will be held on today after school in the PAC.  No experience is necessary, so come out and audition.  Who knows, you may be the next Coyote Players star.  For more information, see Mr. Parrish.

Spring ROP class schedules are available in the Counseling Office.  See Ms. Curtis to enroll in a class.  You can get a start on your career and earn elective credits.  Sign up today!

Support Key Club and the community by buying pizza and breadsticks from the food cart during lunch this week.

Attention Seniors:  Financial Aid Night is tonight at 7:00 in the PAC.  There will also be a Financial Aid workshop on January 22 in the Career Center during 6th period until 4:00.

Attention 9th, 10th, 11th grade students:  The Buena Park Library District will be hosting a FREE PRACTICE SAT test at 8:45 am on February 2nd.  You must register at the reference desk in the library or call (714) 826-4100 ext. 125 or by e-mail at pnisle@buenapark.lib.ca.us.

Attention Juniors:  There is Pep Week practice today in Room 54 and Thursday in Room 76 from 3:00 – 4:00.  All Juniors are welcome.

Meetings

Attention Sophomores:  There will be a class meeting on Friday, January 18 during lunch in Room 50.  Pep Week  will be discussed.

Attention Latino Club:  There is a meeting Friday, January 18, to discuss the Food Fest and International Day.

Attention GSA Members:  There is a meeting today starting 10 minutes into lunch to say goodbye to two of our own.  Come say farewell!

There is a joint CSF/People to People Club meeting today at lunch in Room 51.  We are hosting a Spelling Bee and you must participate.  Come to get your assigned task.  See you there.

There will be a meeting for all those interested in playing football for the 2008 season this Friday, January 18, at lunch in the weight room.  This is for new players only.

Hey!!!  Guess what?  The Folios are back!  Make sure that you take the Folio pictures; the offer is only good for 3 weeks on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  The cost is $1.00.  It will be held right next to the cruising café during lunch.

Are you looking for a fun elective?  Are you creative and like to make new friends?  Do you like to write, draw, or take pictures?  Then Journalism is the place for you.  Contact Mr. Fasano in Room 12 for more info.

Troy has 3,  Fullerton has 4,  Sonora has 4, LaHabra has 5, and Sunny Hills has 7.  What do all these numbers mean?  These are the number of dances our district high school have, excluding the prom, every year.  Buena Park will only have one dance a year, not counting prom.  So, buy your Winter Formal dance tickets today!
