Sports Club, Class News & Announcements 1. Peer tutoring is available Monday and Wednesday in the Career Center, Room 64. Drop by! Students are eager to assist in any way they can! Learning is fun! 2. Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors: You are required to have a school I.D. in order to take the California High School Exit Exam. If you don’t have an I.D., go to the Activities Office, Room 25, on Wednesdays during lunch and Mrs. Walton will take your picture for you I.D. card. 3. Any student that is interested in challenging the Fullerton Union High School district Computer Exam, see Mss Hall in Room 77 to sign up. The test will be given Thursday, 2/28 and next Thursday, March 6th in the Computer Lab, Room 65. The test will be given right after school till 5 or 6 p.m. Five sections will be tested. They will include: 1) Word Processing 2) Internet plus email 3) Power Point 4) Excel spreadsheets 5) Access Date Base. 4. High Achieving Students – February is the month to apply for CSF membership, and today is the last day of February! Don’t be left out of an honor you have earned, pick up an application in Room 26 or 51 and turn it in to Dr. Swift ASAP. 5. Attention Students: Come join Buena Park, Sonora and Fullerton High Schools at the Formal District Ball on Saturday, March 15th. It will be held at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim. Tickets are $43.00. The ticket includes an all you-can-eat buffet with unlimited drinks and dessert. The theme of the dance is “Dreaming till Midnight” and the event is hosted by BPHS JROTC. You may purchase your tickets in the main office, and then take your receipt to Room 127 for your tickets. 6. Zero Period JROTC: Are you interested in the following: playing sports and being in the ROTC program, completing your PE or general elective requirements before first period classes, advanced college credits and college scholarships, free field trips, awards and many other program activities? Contact your counselor and sign up for next year’s zero period ROTC class. This zero period class will fill up fast. 7. Attention all Key Club Members: There is a mandatory and very important meeting Tuesday, March 4th at lunch in Room 100. You must attend in order to participate in our upcoming events.
