Club, Class News & Announcements

1. Attention Students:  Reminder – Spring Break is April 7 – April 11.

2. Attention Juniors:  Did you know that you need to take SAT or ACT if you are planning to attend a 4 year college or university.  The deadline to register for SAT is April 1^st for the May 3^rd test and May 6^th for the June 7^th test.  The deadline to register for the ACT is May 9^th for the June 14^th test. If you qualified for the free and reduce lunch then you can apply for a fee waiver in the Career Center.

3. Student Board Member applications are now available in the front office.  Applications are for current Juniors and are due by May 2^nd.  Being a student board member is very prestigious and looks great on college and scholarship applications!

4. PROM 2008 – tickets will be sold in the Main Office Monday, April 14 – Tuesday, May 13.  NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR!  Students purchasing 2 tickets, both students need to be present at time of purchase.  If your guest does not attend BPHS, you must get a guest form that must be returned no later than Monday, May 12, 9:00 a.m.  The maximum age for guests is 20.  All unpaid fines must be paid before you will be allowed to purchase a ticket.  And Saturday School must be served before you can purchase a ticket.   All BPHS must show valid BPHS I.D at the door.   Guests must bring their school I.D.

5. Key Club members will be raising money for March of Dimes.  Please support our cause in raising money to support babies born prematurely.  If you see a Key Club member, ask them how you can donate.  Thank you for your support.

6. All members of National Honor Society please meet during lunch today in Room 34.  All members must attend! Important events will be discussed.

7. Attention French Club Members:  The field trip is Wednesday, April 16 to watch the movie “Bienvenue Chez les Ch’tis.  If you want to go on the field trip, you must go to Madame Mann’s room 92 today.  Space is limited, so make sure you come to the meeting.
